Sorrow In Siberia

Up to 25 coal miners died this week in a coal mine explosion in Siberia. At last report, there were still three miners unaccounted for and rescuers had not given up hope. But reportedly more explosions have occurred since the first one.

It is 20 years since the United States had a mine accident this bad. Twenty-seven lost their lives in a fire at the Wilberg Mine, December 19, 1984.
